• "I see what you don’t. Write about things least spoken of. Speak less, listen more. Watch less, observe more. Know more by learning more. Attach less, detach more. Be seen less, remembered more. And believe that less is, in fact, more."

Falling Off My Tree

Soul Detoxification is a lifelong process…

There are times when we must sit still to figure out the ‘why’ of things.

“Fall” has set in.
People who we thought we knew and trusted, are falling off our trees.

A familiar ache will greet you, the kind most of us feel when someone who we trust turns against us; when someone we considered a ‘positive association’ turns into a painful experience.

This ‘little’ yet BIG quote stands out…

“To belittle, you have to be little.” ~ K. Gibran

Entering the ‘little’ world of the people who care ‘little’ would be grave injustice to yourself… and you owe it to yourself to refrain from walking through their stinking little space.

A space that reminds me of that dark alley where the stench of urine permeates every air molecule.

A space that is cramped with unnecessary stuff; with ugly, old, rotting stuff.
A space that hampers growth. One, that drives you insane!

It is a space most of us have experienced at some stage or the other.
A space we recognise well yet get sucked into and get stuck in it too.

A space that is claustrophobic, fake and
Where happiness is sold in stores;
Where people feign… love showered feels like acid rain,
‘Trust’ is a fashionable term and ‘conscience’ lies dead in vain.

A space that hurts my brain, grips me in chains,
Tests my patience, my energy drains,
Adds dollops of pain and causes severe strain.

Yet, a part of me knows, from this experience too… I have gained.

Imagine that!

It is extremely difficult to control oneself from speaking ill about people who have gravely wronged you, ill-treated you and tried their very best to harm you…

Be quiet. Believe in the power of stillness. Believe in prayer.

My Prayer

Lord, protect each one of us from this harrowing strain…

Or give us the strength to bear it all and continue to remain sane.

…the pain in the yellowing of the leaves in fall …the pain in that orange brilliance …the pain to fall off soon…..the pain to perish sans the blooms…the pain you so stoically hide in each word …yet you liberate that pain …to see itself in a silent grace …to see itself until a new spring shades ….that is so beautifully you .!…The pain will liberate …from its own chains …yes it will!
