• "I see what you don’t. Write about things least spoken of. Speak less, listen more. Watch less, observe more. Know more by learning more. Attach less, detach more. Be seen less, remembered more. And believe that less is, in fact, more."
  • "Today, organs can get replaced but no one has found a replacement for lost trust, abandoned hearts, shattered souls and tears that flowed. Imagine that!"
  • "Life is not a straight line. It is a circle. See you a-round!"
  • If you do not wish to cross the bridge when you get to it go ahead, take a boat... either way, cross over, you will have to."

First Love

Mourning

We were in love

Like two inseparable doves…

We knew each other

Like no one we’ve known.

Days I spend in missing him

Nights in longing for him…

The sound of his voice

Embedded in my void…

His eyes, always piercing

With a dark spot in his left.

It intrigued me and

I’d say “I can see your heart in your eye!”

He’d laugh every time…

The sweet laugh that rings today in my wind chime.

I yearn for him…

For I’ve lost him to battles we couldn’t fight.

People have told me, “move on”

“Out of sight is out of mind”…

I remain silent…

…One night I heard a noise

It woke me up…

Startled I asked him

“Do you need anything?”

Then I cried…

As the empty bed spoke to me…

I hold his hand for eternity

The one you can’t see… but feel.

Love is…

To love forever
